Barnsley is a town in the North of England and has a population of about 360 000 people. It is spread out over a large area, some of it encompasses the Peak District National Park. A large shopping centre, Meadowhall, is close by. Some people might say that the people of Barnsley have their own language. It is only the Barnsley accent that cannot understand. Barnsley is not a town of tourism. It is a town of pubs. I don't know about the nightlife but you could go on a bender that lasts well into the next afternoon! Yes I know that its not a good thing to say about where you live but that's all there is. Yes, there are leisure centres and cinemas but pubs are the main feature of Barnsley.
